After a four-year hiatus, Anatii makes a futuristic comeback to music. Anatii declared on Twitter a few months ago that he would be taking his solo album off of all streaming services. The rapper’s attitude sent a strong message to the South African hip-hop community and his followers that, after a protracted hiatus, he could be finished creating music altogether.

The South African rapper returns after a four-year hiatus with a unique method of releasing songs; this explains why he removed all of his solo albums from all streaming sites weeks ago. Before releasing the song the rapper took to Twitter and made it known he has a huge announcement to make as he addressed his fans. “BIG ANNOUNCEMENT IN 3HRS #PUNISHER,” tweeted Anatii.

The rapper set social media ablaze following a new music release in the form of an NFT and he seemed to be the first SA rapper to ever use that approach. “PUNISHER MINT SITE IS NOW LIVE https://anatii.fair.xyz#PUNISHER powered by: @fairxyz.” Tweeted Anatii following the release of his new single.

According to Slikour, the rapper defines the new single as “a symbol of detachment from the status quo which will be paving the new ways of creating and identifying one’s worth.” Anatii has proved his genius yet again with the way he has released “PUNISHER” and he really proved what Cassper Nyovest said about him when the two met.

Upon their reunion, Cassper also mentioned that Anatii did not stop talking about NFTs even when they were in the studio making music. This was a clear indication that Anatii was lowkey revealing his plans to Cassper on how he will be releasing his music in the future. “This broer can’t stop speaking about NFTs. Will we even get into (the) studio ?” Tweeted Cassper.
